Terms of Service

Last updated: 08 Sep 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of TezExchange (the "Platform"), a peer-to-peer (P2P) digital recharge and wallet exchange service operated in India. By creating an account, accessing, or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for an account you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility & Account Registration

  • You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
  • You must register using a valid Indian mobile number verified by OTP, and provide accurate, current information.
  • One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent limits, promotions, or fraud checks is prohibited and may result in suspension.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and transaction PIN, and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. KYC (Know Your Customer)

Certain features — including higher wallet limits, seller listings, and withdrawals above prescribed thresholds — require successful KYC verification (PAN, Aadhaar, and/or bank account verification). We reserve the right to request additional documents, restrict account features, or hold transactions pending satisfactory KYC verification, in line with applicable RBI and anti-money-laundering guidance.

4. Wallet & Payment Terms

  • The Platform wallet is used solely to facilitate recharge purchases, P2P settlements, and withdrawals on the Platform. It is not a bank account and does not earn interest.
  • Funds added to your wallet may be held in escrow while an order is in progress and released to the counterparty (buyer or seller) on successful completion, in accordance with the order and dispute workflow described in-app.
  • Withdrawal requests are processed to the bank account / UPI ID registered and verified on your profile. Processing times and limits are displayed at the time of withdrawal and may vary based on your KYC tier and platform risk checks.
  • We may deduct applicable platform commission/fees as disclosed at the time of the transaction.

5. Buyer & Seller Conduct

Buyers purchase recharge/top-up stock listed by sellers on the Platform. Sellers are responsible for fulfilling orders accurately and promptly. Both parties agree to:

  • Provide accurate recharge details (mobile number, operator, amount) for every order.
  • Not use the Platform for money laundering, terror financing, or any other unlawful purpose.
  • Not attempt to circumvent the Platform's payment, escrow, or dispute-resolution mechanisms (e.g. by settling outside the Platform).
  • Raise disputes through the in-app Dispute Center rather than via chargebacks or external escalation, so the matter can be investigated fairly.

6. Prohibited Use

You may not use the Platform to:

  • Engage in fraud, phishing, identity theft, or any deceptive practice;
  • Recharge numbers or accounts you are not authorised to top up, or that are linked to stolen funds;
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Platform's operation or security;
  • Violate any applicable Indian law, including but not limited to the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made thereunder.

Violation of this section may result in immediate suspension, forfeiture of pending settlements pending investigation, and reporting to law enforcement where required.

7. Fees & Commission

The Platform charges a commission on completed orders and/or spread built into listed prices, as displayed to users before order confirmation. Fee schedules may change; the fee applicable at the time an order is placed will apply to that order.

8. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, violation of these Terms, or a legal/regulatory requirement to do so. You may close your own account at any time via the "Delete My Account" option in your profile, subject to settlement of any outstanding wallet balance and pending orders.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TezExchange and its operators shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform, including losses caused by third-party payment gateway outages, telecom operator failures, or actions of other users. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount of fees paid by you to the Platform in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

10. Dispute Resolution

Order-level disputes between buyers and sellers are handled through the in-app Dispute Center and may be resolved by Platform administrators at their reasonable discretion based on evidence submitted. For disputes between you and the Platform, we encourage resolution through our Support team in the first instance. These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts at [Your City], India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to applicable consumer protection law allowing you to approach a forum closer to your residence.

11. Changes to the Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes affecting active orders or wallet balances.

12. Contact

For questions about these Terms, please reach out via the in-app Support / Ticket system, or contact us at hello@example.com.
